Terms of Use

Last updated: July 24, 2026

Welcome to Xplore Attractions. These Terms of Use explain the rules that apply when you browse our website or use its travel-discovery, map, route-planning, My Trips, contribution, and partner-service features.

By using Xplore Attractions, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

1. Who We Are

Xplore Attractions is operated by Xplore Travel Network, an Ontario company. In these Terms, "Xplore," "Xplore Attractions," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Xplore Travel Network and the Xplore Attractions service.

Xplore is a travel-discovery and trip-planning platform. It helps users discover attractions, explore destinations, view maps, plan routes, save places and routes, contribute suggested places, and find relevant third-party travel services.

2. The Nature and Scope of the Service

Xplore brings together information from our own research, public and official sources, user contributions, map and routing providers, and participating travel partners. Our destination and partner coverage is selective. We do not claim to list every attraction, route, accommodation, tour, ticket, insurance policy, restaurant, or travel service available in a destination.

Results may depend on the locations, dates, preferences, filters, map area, availability, and partner inventory available to Xplore at the time. The absence of a listing or offer does not mean that no other option exists.

3. Xplore's Role and Third-Party Services

Unless we expressly state otherwise in a particular service or booking flow, Xplore is not the operator, owner, insurer, broker, underwriter, tour provider, ticket issuer, accommodation provider, storage provider, transport provider, restaurant, or merchant supplying a third-party travel service shown on the website.

When you follow a partner link or complete a transaction with a third party, the contract is between you and that provider. The provider is responsible for its prices, availability, descriptions, eligibility rules, confirmations, payments, cancellations, refunds, customer support, performance, and any claims or disputes. Its own terms and privacy policy apply.

Xplore does not provide legal, medical, financial, immigration, visa, insurance, safety, or other professional advice. Information and recommendations are provided for general travel-planning purposes and do not replace advice tailored to your personal circumstances.

4. Affiliate Relationships and Sponsored Offers

Some links, offers, and service recommendations on Xplore are affiliate or sponsored links. If you click one of these links and complete a qualifying purchase or booking, Xplore may receive a commission or other compensation from the partner. This helps support the operation and development of the service.

Affiliate relationships may influence which commercial services are available for us to display. They do not mean that Xplore has reviewed every option on the market or guarantees that an offer is the best or least expensive option for you. Unless expressly stated, Xplore does not add a separate fee merely because you used an affiliate link.

Insurance comparison or quotation services, including services provided by HelloSafe or another insurance partner, are supplied by that partner. Xplore is not an insurer, insurance broker, underwriter, or claims administrator and does not determine whether a policy is suitable for you. You must review the insurer's official policy documents, coverage, limits, exclusions, eligibility requirements, and claims procedures before purchasing.

5. Rankings, Recommendations, and Personalisation

Xplore may rank, filter, highlight, or explain attractions and travel services using editorial judgment, structured data, availability, popularity, location, user-selected preferences, automated systems, or artificial intelligence. Some placements may also be identified as sponsored or affiliate-supported.

Recommendations are intended to help narrow choices, not to provide an exhaustive or objective assessment of every available option. Automated explanations can be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for deciding whether an attraction, route, activity, provider, or service is appropriate for you and your travelling party.

6. Accuracy and Changing Travel Information

We work to make Xplore useful and accurate, but travel information changes frequently. We do not guarantee that listings, descriptions, photographs, prices, opening hours, seasonal schedules, closures, accessibility details, parking information, safety information, availability, or partner offers are complete, current, or error-free.

Information supplied by a venue, public authority, map provider, partner, or other third party may change between updates. The provider's current confirmation, official notice, booking terms, or contractual documentation controls. Before travelling or purchasing, verify important details directly with the relevant venue, operator, authority, or provider.

7. Maps, Routes, Nearby Results, and Location Tools

Maps, routes, distances, travel times, nearby results, boundaries, and location matches are estimates provided for planning convenience. They may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate because of third-party data, GPS accuracy, connectivity, construction, weather, road or trail conditions, closures, private property, access restrictions, or local rules.

Xplore is not an emergency, safety, or turn-by-turn navigation service. Always follow current signs, official notices, traffic laws, property boundaries, and instructions from local authorities. Do not rely on a route if conditions make it unsafe, unlawful, inaccessible, or unsuitable for your vehicle, mobility needs, experience, or circumstances.

8. My Trips and Magic-Link Access

My Trips may allow you to save attractions, routes, preferences, submissions, and related trip-planning information. Access may be provided through a single-use or time-limited link or verification code sent to your email address rather than through a traditional password.

You are responsible for maintaining control of your email account and any magic link or verification code sent to it. Anyone who can access them may be able to access your saved information. Contact us promptly if you believe your access has been compromised.

We may expire, invalidate, limit, suspend, or refuse access attempts when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or reliable operation of the service.

9. User Contributions and Suggested Places

You may be able to submit a suggested place, correction, photograph, source, description, note, message, or other content. You are responsible for the content you submit and for having all rights and permissions needed to submit it.

You must not submit content that:

  • is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or malicious;
  • infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or another person's rights;
  • contains malware, spam, advertising, or irrelevant promotional material;
  • contains personal information that you do not have the right to disclose;
  • misrepresents a location, business, source, authorship, or material fact.

We may verify, edit, format, translate, reject, remove, or decline to publish a contribution. Submission does not guarantee publication, approval, attribution, compensation, or follow-up.

You retain any ownership rights you have in your contribution. By submitting it, you grant Xplore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, adapt, format, translate, display, publish, distribute, and promote it for operating, improving, and promoting Xplore and its related travel services. This licence continues for material already incorporated into the service, subject to applicable privacy and intellectual-property law.

10. Acceptable Use

You may use Xplore for lawful personal travel discovery and planning. You must not:

  • interfere with the website, its security, availability, or other users;
  • attempt to access information, systems, or administrative functions not intended for you;
  • bypass rate limits, access controls, verification, review, or security measures;
  • introduce malicious code or use the service for fraud, harassment, or unlawful activity;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with a business or provider;
  • use automated access in a manner that burdens, damages, or disrupts the service.

11. Scraping, Data Extraction, and Database Use

You may not scrape, crawl, harvest, extract, reproduce, republish, or reuse a substantial part of Xplore's attraction listings, descriptions, photographs, map presentation, route results, partner placements, translations, or structured database content without our prior written permission.

You may not use Xplore or its content to build, train, populate, or operate a competing directory, map, database, travel service, machine-learning system, or commercial product except where applicable law expressly permits it or we have agreed in writing.

12. Intellectual Property

The Xplore website, branding, software, original writing, design, layout, graphics, compilations, and databases are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Some maps, photographs, attraction data, reviews, trademarks, partner content, and other materials belong to third parties and may be used under licence, attribution requirements, public-source terms, permission, or other lawful bases. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Xplore or third-party content to you.

13. Availability, Changes, and Suspension

Xplore is continually developing. We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, partner integrations, destination coverage, saved-data functions, or content at any time. We may also suspend or restrict a user's access where reasonably necessary to protect Xplore, its users, partners, or legal rights.

We do not guarantee that the website, any feature, saved information, or a partner service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You should keep your own record of information that is important to your trip.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use Xplore. It forms part of these Terms.

15. Disclaimers

Xplore is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions, express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, right, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xplore, Xplore Travel Network, and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, travel opportunity, or business opportunity, arising from or connected with your use of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for injury, loss, delay, cancellation, missed travel, booking or payment problems, route or navigation errors, provider conduct, service failures, inaccurate third-party information, or decisions you make based on information available through Xplore.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Xplore, Xplore Travel Network, and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of Xplore, your contribution, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Xplore, our partners, our business practices, or applicable law. The version posted when you use the website is the version that applies at that time. We will update the date at the top of this page when material revisions are posted.

19. Governing Law and Severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection or other rights that apply where you live are not affected by this provision.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

20. Contact

Questions or concerns about these Terms can be submitted through our contact form.
